Laurel TV’s Jean-Luque Zephir covers the Laurel Lake Water Quality Project that is meant to deal with “Storm Water Runoff.” Prince George’s County is working with the Clean Water Partnership (CWP) to install fore bays in the lake that will filter out the sediments and pollutants from reaching the lake. The project will be centered at 14290 Oxford Drive and the fore bays will be adjacent to the Lakehouse, and Cherry Lane, as well. The project is set to last from Fall 2018 – Spring 2019. Please contact the Department of Parks and Recreation, 301-725-5300, extension 2306, if you have questions or concerns during the project.
